In the heart of Saint Margarets, South West London, a busy family of four have reimagined their home with a kitchen that celebrates craftsmanship, local design, and material beauty. Designed and built by bespoke kitchen specialists Callaghan Interiors, the space is a balance of natural warmth and contemporary sophistication – anchored by Caesarstone’s 6131 Bianco Drift worktop surface.

At once elegant and understated, 6131 Bianco Drift’s creamy base and delicate veining form the visual and tactile foundation of the design. Its subtle movement and warm undertones perfectly complement the rich walnut cabinetry, creating harmony throughout the open-plan space.

They have a creative eye – they run a local salon – and were drawn to natural, layered materials with texture and warmth. Caesarstone’s Bianco Drift captured that instantly.”

The couple discovered the surface during [a visit to Caesarstone’s London studio](https://info.caesarstone.co.uk/visit-our-studios). Inspired by its natural appearance and intricate detailing, they chose it as the defining element of their new kitchen. Used across the worktops, splashback and shelving as well as a statement island, Bianco Drift’s light-reflective qualities enhance the open-plan layout, creating a cohesive and expansive design.

The installation involved a few clever design solutions, including floating shelves supported by concealed steel rods. Throughout the design, premium brands were selected to complement the surface’s refined aesthetic – including Quooker, Siemens, Blanco, and PUSHKA handles. Each element works in concert to create a kitchen that feels grounded, enduring, and personal.
