Nestled within a Victorian home, the project transformed the entire layout by adding walls and extending the rear, creating a seamless connection with the garden through large sliding glass doors. “This kitchen is the room where everyone gathers. It’s a place for informal family time and entertaining guests, blending the indoor and outdoor spaces,” shares James Horsfall, owner and designer at Bath Kitchen Companycaesarstone-bath-kitchen-company-fresh-concrete-03
The clients wanted a family-friendly area that maximised natural light and openness. The bold, warm tones of the cabinetry – with deep terracotta and oxblood red hues, reflecting the trending colour palettes for 2025 – were showcased by avoiding overhead cabinets, creating a stunning contrast with the Fresh Concrete surface, which features delicate white veining and a smooth, tactile texture. “The Fresh Concrete finish worked perfectly with our design goals. It’s robust and practical, offering that modern concrete look without the challenges of real concrete,” says Horsfall.Garden facing kitchen using Caesarstone Fresh Concrete work surfaces
Mor Krisher, Head of Product Design at Caesarstone, notes: “The texture of Fresh Concrete is tenderly tactile, with a satiny gleam. This finish works especially well in contemporary spaces, bringing a subtle warmth to an otherwise sleek and industrial environment.” In this project, the material’s interpretation of crisp white concrete, delicately touched by subtle greys, lends depth and interest to the kitchen. caesarstone-bath-kitchen-company-fresh-concrete-05The design process was meticulously planned, with extensive collaboration between a high-end team of builders and architects to ensure that every detail was executed flawlessly. The addition of oak elements brought warmth to the painted cabinetry, while careful measurements ensured that cabinets fit neatly to the ceiling, leaving only a shadow gap for a clean finish.Modern red kitchen using white Caesarstone Fresh Concrete worktops
Equipped with high-quality appliances from Siemens, Fisher & Paykel, and Franke, the kitchen blends functionality with style. The integration of these elements reinforces the kitchen’s contemporary aesthetic while ensuring ease of use for family activities. This renovation has transformed the conventional kitchen into a multifunctional hub, serving as a stylish and practical gathering space for the family. Every detail, from the choice of Caesarstone surface to the thoughtful layout, has been carefully curated to create an open, inviting environment.Close-up of Caesarstone Fresh Concrete in a garden facing kitchen
