The challenge was to introduce warmth while maintaining a sense of cohesion in the kitchen’s design. [Caesarstone’s 502 Sleet kitchen worktop surface](https://www.caesarstone.co.uk/catalogue/502-sleet/), with its soft creamy tones and subtle marbling, was the perfect solution. ![Caesarstone Sleet Worktop and Backsplash](https://blog.caesarstone.co.uk/hubfs/caesarstone-bezalel-binyamin-sleet-cs-rect-1.webp) APPROX. It was clear from the get-go that we wanted a porcelain surface, and Sleet’s aesthetic qualities really resonated with them.”  The Sleet porcelain surface was selected for both the kitchen countertop and the splashback. Its subtle, sophisticated palette of soft greys, beige, and gentle marbling complements the natural oak cabinetry, creating an elegant yet practical cooking space.  ![Close-up of Caesarstone Sleet porcelain worktops and splashback](https://blog.caesarstone.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/caesarstone-bezalel-binyamin-sleet-02.webp?width=1440&height=960&name=caesarstone-bezalel-binyamin-sleet-02.webp) Binyamin’s goal was to offer design solutions that could connect the inviting warmth of Sleet’s surface colour with the flooring’s modern, cool tone. His solutions were nothing short of genius: neutral Kashmir-coloured kitchen cabinets, beige bar stools, and a black ‘toe kick’ that creates a separation between the floor tiles and the kitchen. To further enhance Sleet’s trademark warmth, Binyamin incorporated a walnut-coloured floating cabinet and gold-coloured taps, complemented by metallic lighting fixtures.  ![Modern kitchen using Caesarstone Sleet white porcelain backsplash and worktops](https://blog.caesarstone.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/caesarstone-bezalel-binyamin-sleet-03.webp?width=1440&height=960&name=caesarstone-bezalel-binyamin-sleet-03.webp) The integration of Caesarstone’s Sleet worktops not only elevated the design of the kitchen but also provided a durable and easy-to-maintain solution for this busy family. Commenting on the rising popularity and benefits of porcelain surfaces, Jonathan Stanley, VP of Marketing for Caesarstone, says: "The trend for using porcelain in our homes is, without a doubt, continuing to grow. Beautifully combining aesthetic with durability, porcelain ticks all the boxes for quality and versatility, and as such, outperforms natural stone alternatives such as marble and granite. Whether you’re after a bolder, dramatic style with a darker hue or looking to create a light, natural atmosphere with something softer, then this material can offer just that. Beyond aesthetics, porcelain is highly resistant to heat, scratches, and stains, whilst also being non-porous and simple to clean. At [Caesarstone, all our porcelain surfaces also come with a lifetime warranty](https://www.caesarstone.co.uk/warranty/) for residential applications, giving added peace of mind that it really will stand the test of time.”  Ready to elevate your kitchen design?
