How can I best look after my Caesarstone worktops?

While our warranty ensures peace of mind, we recommend some specific care and maintenance tips to keep your worktops looking as good as new for many years to come. Caesarstone quartz is one of the most heat-resistant and hard-wearing surfaces, bettering most granites and marble.

However, as with any natural surface, Caesarstone's does need protection from sudden temperature changes like hot pots and pans. We suggest never placing hot cookware directly on the surface and to use a trivet underneath instead, as well as heat-resistant pads beneath electrical cooking units like crock pots or toasters.

Cleaning your Caesarstone is easy thanks to its non-porous properties. Light stains and spills can be simply wiped clean with a mild detergent and water. For anything more stubborn, we’d recommend a non-scratch ScotchBrite™ pad and a non-abrasive cleaner to avoid dulling the surface.

Caesarstone is tough, but not indestructible – like any other worktop material, it can be permanently damaged if exposed to harsh chemicals or solvents such as oven cleaners or dishwasher polishing agents. Never clean your Caesarstone surface with products that contain Trichlorethane or Methylene Chloride, such as paint removers or strippers.
